Narita International Airport, Tokyo is one of the two international airports serving Tokyo, Japan. It is located in Chiba Prefecture, about 60 km east of central Tokyo. It is named after Narita, the city where it is located. It opened in 1978 and replaced Haneda Airport as the main international gateway to Japan. It has four terminals, connected by a free metro and buses. It also has three railway stations that link to Tokyo and other cities by trains.
