Aman Tokyo

Aman Tokyo is a hotel in the Otemachi district of Chiyoda, Tokyo, occupying the upper floors of Otemachi Tower at 1-5-6 Otemachi. The property presents itself as Aman’s first urban sanctuary in the city, with interiors shaped by Japanese materials such as wood, stone and washi paper, and with extensive views across the skyline, the Imperial Palace Gardens and, on clear days, Mount Fuji. Accommodation centres on spacious suites rather than standard rooms. The hotel lists 84 Suites and Signature Suites, including Garden View, Deluxe, Tokyo and larger signature categories. Selected suites feature floor-to-ceiling windows, separate living and sleeping areas, stone furo baths, king-size beds and, in the largest suites, dining tables for entertaining. All stays include breakfast, in-room refreshments without alcohol, welcome amenities and access to wellness facilities. Dining is varied for a city-centre hotel. Aman Tokyo’s venues include Arva for Italian cooking, Musashi by Aman for Edomae-style sushi at a hinoki counter, The Lounge by Aman for afternoon tea and drinks, Café by Aman for relaxed daytime meals, and La Pâtisserie in the tower basement for breads and pastries. In-room dining is also available, allowing guests to eat privately in their suites. Wellness is a major part of the experience. The Aman Spa spans about 2,500 square metres over two floors and includes onsen-style baths, steam rooms, a 30-metre heated indoor pool, a fitness centre, and yoga and Pilates studios. The atmosphere throughout is deliberately calm and restrained, giving the hotel the feel of a high-rise retreat above one of the world’s busiest capitals.
