Anantara Guiyang Dining
Guizhou

Dining at Anantara Guiyang Resort brings together the flavours of Guizhou, a broader Chinese repertoire and the hotel's Thai heritage. Its restaurants give guests several distinct ways to eat, from private banquets to shared Thai dishes and more casual meals throughout the day. The Ancient Town is the choice for a Chinese meal with family, friends or colleagues. Five private dining rooms accompany a menu drawing on Guiyang, Sichuan, Guangdong and Hunan. Highlights include chicken stir-fried with peppers and chilli, and fish in the tangy sour soup associated with Miao cooking. Siam provides a Thai focus, with tom yum goong combining prawns, lemongrass, lime leaf and galangal. Crab with yellow curry and mango with coconut sticky rice extend the menu's balance of savoury, spicy and sweet flavours. Dishes are intended to be shared around the table. Fanjing covers Asian, Western and fusion cooking for everyday dining, while Jia Xiu serves drinks and lighter food in the lobby. Azalea Bar adds a poolside setting, giving the resort a relaxed alternative for a drink between activities.
