Anjajavy le Lodge
Madagascar

Anjajavy le Lodge occupies a remote peninsula on Madagascar's north-west coast, where sandy beaches meet forest, mangroves and the limestone formations known as tsingy. The surrounding nature reserve makes wildlife part of the stay, with lemurs and baobabs among its most recognisable sights. The lodge has 24 hardwood villas with covered terraces overlooking the sea. Interiors include a lounge and ground-floor bedroom, while some layouts add a mezzanine with twin beds. Air conditioning and spacious showers provide comfort after time outdoors, and selected villas have direct beach access. Meals are served on a broad wooden deck facing the Mozambique Channel. The kitchen draws on Malagasy seafood, produce, honey and spices, with opportunities to explore Sakalava cooking. The Sunset Bar gives evenings a natural focus as the light changes across the water. Days can combine guided forest walks, mangrove excursions and quiet beaches with time beside the pool. This is a particularly appealing setting for travellers who want coastal relaxation and close observation of Madagascar's landscapes and wildlife within the same stay.
