Anse Chastanet Resort

Anse Chastanet makes its hillside above the Caribbean part of the experience. Near Soufrière, the resort spreads individually designed rooms between tropical gardens at beach level and higher ground with sea or Piton views, using local woods and furnishings to give the accommodation a distinctly Saint Lucian character. The 600-acre estate provides access to both Anse Chastanet and Anse Mamin beaches. Inland, trails through the Anse Mamin valley offer walking, birdwatching and mountain biking, while the resort's dive centre opens up another side of the coastline. Dining is similarly varied. The Treehouse Restaurant serves food influenced by the Caribbean and other tropical regions, Apsara combines Indian and Saint Lucian traditions, and Emeralds gives plant-based cooking a dedicated place. Organic produce comes from the resort's Emerald Farm. The choice between hillside and beach-level accommodation matters, particularly for guests who prefer to keep walking and stairs to a minimum. Anse Chastanet suits travellers who want gardens, sea and outdoor activities to shape their days.
