Aria has served modern American cooking in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighbourhood since 2000. Founded by Gerry Klaskala, the restaurant is now owned by Andrés Loaiza, with Executive Chef Austin Goetzman leading a menu that changes with the seasons. The dining room suits an evening spent over several à la carte courses, while the bar offers dinner dishes alongside cocktails and wines by the glass. Recent dishes include a foraged mushroom tart with confit egg yolk and Parmesan custard, brown-butter-poached halibut and sweetcorn agnolotti with lobster and chanterelles. Desserts range from Thai lime tres leches cake to olive oil cake with strawberries. The menu’s combination of familiar ingredients and detailed preparation carries through from starters to the final course.
