Meals at Arno Beachcomber Lodge are a small-scale expression of island hospitality, arranged with the hosts rather than chosen from a large restaurant menu. The lagoon-facing lodge offers a setting close to Arno’s white-sand beach. A hosted meal can draw on fish and island produce. One recorded preparation brought together fresh fish, breadfruit, pandanus and coconut, showing the local ingredients that give the cooking its character. Guests can also use the lodge’s gas-stove kitchen for self-catering, so arranging a cooked meal forms a distinct alternative during a stay.
