Aromi
Vinohrady, Prague 2, Czechia; náměstí Míru 1234/6, 120 00

Aromi is one of Prague’s best-known destinations for Italian cooking, and its long-standing reputation gives it a different appeal from the city’s more headline-grabbing tasting-menu restaurants. Prague City Tourism notes that it was among the first places to introduce Prague to high-class Italian cuisine, and the restaurant remains notable for pairing a serious dining room with a bistro format that can work for breakfast, lunch, coffee or a more elaborate evening meal. In Vinohrady at náměstí Míru, it also broadens the culinary map beyond the Old Town core. That flexibility is a major part of its charm. Some restaurants are chosen for one ceremonious meal; Aromi can just as easily become part of a slower day in the city, whether for a lighter stop or a longer dinner. In warmer months, the terrace adds to its appeal, and the wine list is notably focused on Italy, reinforcing the restaurant’s identity. Reservations are accepted, and service windows differ by day, so checking current hours is worthwhile. For travellers who want a polished, recognisable restaurant with a clear point of view and a slightly less tourist-centre location, Aromi remains an excellent choice.
