Attend a Salzburg Festival performance
Festival venues, central Salzburg, Austria
A Salzburg Festival performance makes the city’s cultural identity an experience rather than a backdrop. Opera, drama and concerts bring major artists into a concentrated programme, with the choice of work and venue shaping the evening as much as the festival’s reputation. Plan the trip around a performance that genuinely interests you and leave time on either side. The reward is the sense of joining a living artistic conversation within a city deeply associated with it.
