Badi Lake and its hill scenery

Beyond the city, Badi Lake exchanges palace façades for open water and hills. It was built as a reservoir and remains an appealing place to appreciate the landscape around Udaipur. Enjoy the shore or, if conditions and your fitness allow, ask locally about the route towards Bahubali Hill. The uneven trail requires more care than a city promenade. Arrange your return transport and leave enough daylight for the journey back.
