Baros is a small, Maldivian-owned coral island with beachfront and overwater villas built from timber and sandstone. Mature vegetation shades paths through the interior, while a sandy beach and house reef encircle the island. Each villa has a dedicated host, and selected categories include private pools. A marine centre and resident biologist support reef exploration, with diving and snorkelling providing close contact with the surrounding water. The shared infinity pool extends over the lagoon, and the spa offers treatments in the gardens or villas. Dining includes The Lighthouse beneath its white sail, the Cayenne Grill and Lime Restaurant. Private meals can also be arranged on a sandbank, a dhoni boat or the Piano Deck in the lagoon.
