Bergisel Ski Jump

Bergisel’s ski jump combines an active sporting venue with one of Innsbruck’s most recognisable modern structures. Zaha Hadid brought the tower, café and in-run together in a single striking form above the city. The hill hosted Olympic events in 1964 and 1976, before the present jump was built. Visit for the architecture and views, then consider the scale of the slope from a jumper’s perspective. A café stop makes the outing more leisurely.
