Bioko is the main restaurant at Hotel Ceiba Bissau, on Francisco Mendes Avenue opposite the National Assembly. It serves buffet breakfast alongside lunch and dinner, with a menu that places Guinean dishes beside Portuguese, Spanish and other international influences. Seafood and locally rooted recipes give the selection its most distinctive character. Dishes have included cafriela, chicken flavoured with lemon and onion, and shrimp sigá with palm oil and okra.
