Boniface Bridge and the museum quarter

Boniface Bridge brings together some of Bruges’ most appealing views: narrow canals, half-timbered houses, the Church of Our Lady and the neighbouring Gruuthuse Palace. The bridge is younger than its medieval-looking surroundings suggest, but the setting is worth seeking out. Combine it with a slow walk through the museum quarter rather than making a hurried photo stop. Steps limit access across the bridge itself, though you can still appreciate the area from nearby paths.
