Burundi Palace Hotel
Burundi

Burundi Palace Hotel occupies a Bauhaus building in central Bujumbura that first opened as the Grand Hotel Usumbura in 1946. After a period as offices, the property was restructured and reopened as a boutique hotel in July 2023. Its accommodation comprises 16 rooms and two junior suites, with family options formed from connecting rooms. Rain showers, climate control and sound-insulating doors and windows provide contemporary comforts. Front-facing deluxe categories have balconies, while the junior suites add living areas and larger bathrooms. The BP's rooftop restaurant and bar looks across the city, serving international and Burundian dishes shaped by local produce. The central Boulevard de l'UPRONA address places the hotel's historic architecture within the modern capital.
