Carcass Island House is a seasonal guest house on Carcass Island, open from October to March. Originally a farmhouse, it keeps a homely atmosphere while placing guests close to the island’s wildlife and walking country. Accommodation includes two double rooms, three twin rooms and one triple room, all en suite, plus a scenic deluxe double Beach View Room with its own TV, fridge, sofa, breakfast bar and tea and coffee-making facilities. The island itself is known for gentle slopes, beaches, rocky ridges and rich birdlife, so the stay feels closely tied to its natural setting rather than separate from it.
