Carson’s Food & Drink is a family-run Lexington restaurant group, with Carson’s on Main, Carson’s at Andover and Carson’s Back Porch among its locations. Founded by Mark Fichtner and named for his son, it brings Kentucky Proud products and local craft beer into a menu that ranges well beyond traditional Southern cooking. Bourbon appears in dishes such as sweet-and-spicy ribs with Sriracha barbecue sauce and grilled brie with bourbon pear chutney. Pretzels with beer cheese, ahi tuna lettuce wraps and truffle fries provide contrasting starters, while sandwiches include shaved prime rib and grilled ham with Gruyère. Brunch adds another way to explore the menu, with children’s choices also available.
