Cayo Espanto is a private-island resort three miles from San Pedro, with a sandy path leading through palms and mangroves to individual villas. Seafront accommodation has its own outdoor space, and selected villas combine a private dock with an infinity plunge pool. Personal butler service and three tailored meals each day are part of the stay. The kitchen blends Belizean flavours with international cooking, adapting dishes to guest preferences and serving meals in the villa, on the veranda, at the beach or at the end of a dock. Sea kayaks and other non-motorised activities offer time on the surrounding water. A scheduled daytime boat service connects the island with San Pedro.
