Cheomseongdae

Cheomseongdae is compact enough to pass in a few minutes, but its curved stone form deserves a closer look. Walk around the observatory and notice how its proportions change against the open ground and surrounding trees. It is an easy addition to a route through the historic centre, with a different atmosphere after dark. Stay outside the protected structure and give yourself time to explore the neighbouring paths rather than stopping only for a photograph.
