Climb Passage Peak

Passage Peak rises above Hamilton Island, with a steep final climb to a rocky summit looking across the surrounding islands. The return walk is around four kilometres from the resort or Hideaway Bay trail entrances, making it a worthwhile outing for reasonably fit walkers. Start early to avoid the strongest heat, carry plenty of water and wear sturdy shoes. Check the island's trail advice before leaving and allow enough time for the descent rather than rushing back to a booked activity.
