Copperhill Mountain Lodge

Copperhill Mountain Lodge stands at the top of Förberget in Åre, around 730 metres above sea level and close to the tree line. Designed by American architect Peter Bohlin and built largely from wood, the hotel looks across Åreskutan and the Jämtland mountains. Its name recalls the area's history of copper mining. The lodge has 112 rooms and two restaurants focused on local ingredients and contemporary cooking. A spa with indoor and outdoor pools provides a different way to experience the mountain setting. Ski slopes and walking trails begin nearby, while generous lounges create shared space inside the timber building throughout the year.
