Corinthia Rome

Corinthia Rome has transformed a former Bank of Italy palazzo on Piazza del Parlamento into a hotel with a notably residential character. Restored architectural details sit alongside contemporary furnishings in rooms, suites and penthouses, with larger signature suites giving particular expression to the building's heritage. Leafy interior courtyards soften the formal architecture. Carlo Cracco shapes the dining offer, including Viride's contemporary Italian cooking, while Piazzetta and Ocra Bar introduce more sociable spaces for meals and aperitifs. Below the palazzo, the former vault area now contains a spa inspired by Roman bathing, with two bathing pools, thermal facilities and private treatment rooms. We include Corinthia for the strength of this reuse and the way its smaller scale supports a central-city stay. It is particularly attractive to travellers who appreciate a building with a clear past but want current accommodation and wellness facilities. The Campo Marzio setting makes the hotel's courtyards and subterranean spa a valuable counterpoint to busy days outside.
