Cormier Restaurant brings Haitian home cooking to the beachfront grounds of Cormier Plage Resort, outside Cap-Haïtien. The kitchen works with local ingredients and seafood supplied by nearby fishermen, making the northern coast part of both the setting and the meal. Creole dishes include griot, the fried pork served with sharp, spicy pikliz. Tables beside the beach keep the sea close, while the resort can arrange a more private dinner on the sand. The surrounding park of mature trees adds shade and a quieter atmosphere to the resort’s dining spaces.
