Dar El Jeld Restaurant occupies a restored courtyard house in Tunis’s medina, directly opposite Dar El Jeld Hotel & Spa. Formerly a residence and boarding house, the building was converted into a restaurant in 1989, preserving the traditional domestic setting around its central courtyard. The kitchen concentrates on Tunisian cooking, serving lunch and dinner within the historic house. Its focus on local specialities distinguishes it from the hotel’s separate rooftop restaurant, where the menu also includes international food.
