Dar Sitti Aziza
Palestine

Dar Sitti Aziza occupies a traditional Ottoman house just below Manger Square in Bethlehem. Cross-vaulted ceilings, stone floors and a central courtyard retain the character of the building, while the name honours the owner's grandmother. Guest rooms have individual names and histories, linking the accommodation to the house's former uses and family story. Modern comforts include air conditioning and private bathrooms, with a garden and terrace adding shared spaces. Breakfast is largely homemade and uses organic ingredients. In summer it can be served on the terrace facing the side of the Church of the Nativity or beneath pistachio trees. The church and Milk Grotto are close by, so the guesthouse brings Bethlehem's historic fabric into both the accommodation and the daily route through the city.
