DC Restaurant, known as DC. by Darren Chin, is on Persiaran Zaaba in Kuala Lumpur’s Taman Tun Dr Ismail neighbourhood. The three-storey property contains bars, dining rooms and a private room inspired by Louis XIII. Contemporary French cooking provides the foundation, with international ingredients and a choice of seasonal, omakase and vegetarian menus. The kitchen’s range extends from roast chicken and freshly made pasta to more experimental compositions. A cheese trolley offers a substantial selection at the end of the meal, and the wine list gives diners another way to shape the experience. The separate rooms make the setting more varied than a single conventional dining hall.
