Delmonico Grill has served downtown Rapid City since 2007, developing from a steakhouse into a restaurant with a broader seasonal outlook. Chef and owner Benjamin Klinkel continues the foundations established by its original chef, Pete Franklin. Steaks remain central, but seafood and changing dishes draw on Black Hills and South Dakota ingredients where possible. Classic cooking techniques provide the structure, with local sourcing influencing how the menu develops through the year. Long-standing dishes include the Kona Ribeye, Bourbon Sweet Potato Mash and French Onion Soup. An extensive wine selection accompanies lunch and dinner in a room with a jazz-inspired heritage. The restaurant balances these familiar favourites with new seasonal preparations, giving returning diners a reason to look beyond their usual order.
