Deplar Farm occupies a former sheep farm in the Fljót Valley on northern Iceland’s Troll Peninsula. A turf-covered roof helps the lodge blend into the surrounding mountains and open countryside, while its thirteen rooms keep the scale intimate. Guided outdoor activities vary with the season, from heli-skiing to sea kayaking and whale watching in the neighbouring fjords. Back at the lodge, a geothermal pool extends between indoors and outdoors, with a swim-up bar. Sauna and steam facilities, flotation tanks, treatment rooms and a yoga space give wellness a substantial role alongside the adventures.
