Diba is the traditional Persian restaurant on the ground floor of Espinas Palace Hotel in Tehran’s Saadat Abad district. Lunch and dinner draw on familiar Iranian preparations, including mirza ghasemi, kashk-e bademjan and olives among the starters. Main dishes include soltani kebab, shishlik rib kebab and stone-pot dizi. The drinks continue the Persian theme with sekanjebin and saffron syrups, special saffron tea and herbal infusions. The hotel also highlights its Palace Dam-Noosh. Baklava, pastries, ice cream and fruit platters round out the meal, giving the menu a traditional focus distinct from the hotel’s international restaurant.
