Dome Hotel makes the layers of Riga’s Old Town part of the stay. Behind its Miesnieku Street façade are restored seventeenth-century stairs, fragments of historic decoration and traces of a building that has evolved through several architectural periods. The 15 rooms each have their own character, combining local craftsmanship with contemporary fittings and generous natural light. Le Dome Restaurant occupies part of the former residence’s entrance hall, while the surrounding streets lead quickly to Dome Cathedral and the River Daugava. Upper rooms can look towards the river. With churches, galleries and the opera within reach, the hotel offers an intimate base for discovering the historic centre.
