Duck and Donkey Tavern

Duck and Donkey Tavern is the social hub of Semonkong Lodge, in the Maletsunyane valley of Lesotho's Maluti Mountains. Home-cooked meals and Maluti beer are served in a setting where lodge guests and local visitors meet. The surrounding lodge uses stone and thatch beside the river. Its excursions include hiking, pony trekking and visits to the community, with the tavern providing a place to eat and gather after time in the mountains.
