Elbphilharmonie Plaza

The Elbphilharmonie’s public Plaza sits between the old brick warehouse and the glass concert hall above it. An unusually long, curved escalator makes the approach part of the experience, before you emerge onto a platform overlooking the harbour and city. Walk around the outer edge to see how Hamburg’s waterways, warehouses and modern buildings fit together. The Plaza is open to visitors without concert tickets, but access to the concert halls requires a separate performance or tour booking.
