Element 47 takes its name from silver’s place in the periodic table, a reference to the mining history behind Aspen’s mountain-town beginnings. Inside The Little Nell, close to the slopes, it combines contemporary American cooking with a particularly substantial wine programme. Seasonal menus draw on nearby producers, including locally raised Wagyu beef from Cross Creek Farms, alongside regional vegetables, dairy and other ingredients. Breakfast and lunch offer an accessible introduction, while dinner gives the kitchen room for a more considered evening meal. Bottles displayed behind glass signal the importance of wine from the moment diners arrive. Private dining spaces include The Gallery, where original artwork and a wine wall create a more intimate setting for a celebration.
