Elyton Hotel occupies a restored historic building at Birmingham's Heaviest Corner on Earth. Marble walls and bronze fixtures preserve the lobby's architectural character, while tall ceilings and large windows give its 111 guestrooms and six suites a lighter, loft-like feel. The hotel stands on First Avenue North in the downtown district. The Yard serves a progressive Southern menu built around products from local farmers and suppliers.
