Explora Valle Sagrado occupies a 32-hectare historic estate near Urquillos, surrounded by the landscapes of Peru's Sacred Valley. The lodge uses natural materials and generous spaces, with rooms looking across the valley. Its stay is organised around guided exploration, with more than 40 routes included and adapted to guests' interests and abilities. Excursions take in the Maras salt mines, Moray terraces, traditional villages and Inca sites including Ollantaytambo and Pisac. Machu Picchu can form part of the programme. Meals use local ingredients, and spa facilities offer a place to return after the day's activity.
