Fakhreldin
Jordan

Fakhreldin occupies a preserved villa between Amman's First and Second Circles, giving its Levantine cooking a setting rooted in the city's older neighbourhoods. Once owned by Jordan's first prime minister, Fawzi Al-Mulki, the house was acquired by ATICO Fakhreldin Group and renovated with architect Ammar Khammash in 1997. Polished Palestinian and Jordanian stone, oak detailing and a high balcony retain the character of the original residence. The kitchen draws on the wider Levant rather than a single national tradition, placing the food within the same regional frame as the building's materials and history.
