On Fotografiska Tallinn’s sixth floor, the restaurant extends the photography museum’s creative spirit into food, with city views and a rooftop terrace planted with herbs. Head chef Gerli Travkin builds the menu around seasonal Nordic produce, drawing on fermentation, fire and international flavours while making fuller use of each ingredient. Vegetables take a leading role without excluding fish or meat. Autumn combinations include pumpkin with goat’s cheese and sea buckthorn, and malt-koji-roasted cabbage with mushrooms and puffed buckwheat. Dishes are designed for sharing, while Chef’s Pick offers a selection of the kitchen’s current favourites. A wine programme centred on close relationships with producers completes an informal, thoughtful dining experience.
