Galit brings a seasonal approach to Middle Eastern cooking in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighbourhood. Chef Zachary Engel and co-owner Andrés Clavero use local ingredients to explore dishes from the region, with a four-course menu allowing guests to choose their own route through the meal. Reservations are available in the dining room and at the kitchen counter. A nine-seat communal table provides another option for walk-ins, including à-la-carte dining on selected weekdays. Vegetables play a substantial role, and the kitchen can guide guests through several dietary requirements. The wine programme focuses on Middle Eastern producers, offering a changing accompaniment chosen with the courses in mind.
