Gávea Golf & Country Club
Estr. da Gávea, 800 - São Conrado, Rio de Janeiro - RJ, 22610-002, Brazil
Gávea Golf & Country Club offers one of South America's most distinctive urban landscapes, with Rio's mountains and coastal surroundings shaping the experience. Its established course provides a strong contrast to newer resort developments. Private-club access is the practical consideration that must be resolved before planning the round. The appeal is the relationship between the city, its dramatic natural setting and a traditional club environment. This is not the Olympic Golf Course, and references or booking terms for that public-facing venue cannot be transferred to Gávea. A Rio itinerary should identify each club separately. Ask the club about authorised visitor arrangements and any introduction requirement. Confirm the tee time, dress code and equipment options before organising transfers. Before travelling, ask for the current course conditions and the full cost of the intended round, including any required services. Keep the written confirmation with the itinerary, and allow enough time for check-in and preparation rather than arriving at the scheduled tee time.
