Gibbs Hill Lighthouse

68 St. Annes Road, Southampton Parish, Bermuda

Gibbs Hill Lighthouse is one of Bermuda’s best panoramic viewpoints and one of the island’s most recognisable historic structures. The cast-iron tower and its long maritime history make the climb worthwhile even before the view from the top. Visitors come for the outlook over the reefs and South Shore, but the lighthouse also gives a strong sense of Bermuda’s seafaring past and the practical reasons these waters demanded navigation beacons.
