Grand Barachois – Isthmus is one of the archipelago’s most characteristic landscape walks, taking visitors into the narrow landform between Miquelon and Langlade beside wetlands, dunes, and open coastal scenery. The official tourism route follows the south bank of the Grand Barachois and passes the observatory, making it especially appealing for travelers interested in birdlife, wide views, and the quieter side of the islands. It adds a strong Miquelon-Langlade outdoor experience to the list without duplicating the already retained Cape of Miquelon trail.
