Grano de Oro Restaurant
Costa Rica

Established in 1991, Grano de Oro Restaurant serves its food in the dining rooms and inner courtyard of the hotel’s Victorian mansion in San José. Seasonal tropical ingredients meet French and Mediterranean techniques, with local fishers, farmers and growers supplying the kitchen. Costa Rican beef aged in house and seasonal seafood provide substantial choices, alongside vegetarian and plant-based dishes. The wine selection includes bottles and wines by the glass, allowing different approaches to a meal. Desserts are a distinctive part of the restaurant: its signature Grano de Oro pie combines coffee and chocolate, while tres leches gives a familiar regional preparation its place on the menu.
