Hacienda Zuleta

Hacienda Zuleta is a seventeenth-century hacienda and working farm belonging to the family of former Ecuadorian president Galo Plaza Lasso. Antique rooms, family dining and home-grown Andean food connect the accommodation with the estate’s long agricultural history. Horses bred on the property take guests towards mountain lakes and viewpoints, while walking and cycling follow trails through the surrounding landscape. Condor Huasi introduces the estate’s work with endangered species. Cookery and local embroidery classes add practical encounters with the region’s traditions, and visits to the cheese factory provide another view of the working farm behind the hotel.
