Hajducke Vrleti Restaurant
Bosnia and Herzegovina

The restaurant at Hajducke Vrleti serves Herzegovinian cooking in the mountain setting of Blidinje Nature Park. Its seasonal approach combines familiar regional preparations with newer dishes, using local vegetables, cheeses and meat from animals raised on the park’s pastures. Cornmeal polenta and uštipci, the region’s fried dough, introduce the traditional side of the menu. Larger shared dishes include meat and potatoes cooked under the sač, alongside Blidinje potatoes and homemade pies that require advance ordering. Contemporary alternatives extend to dry-aged rump steak, pumpkin soup and grilled squid. The wine selection includes regional bottles, and the dining operation also caters for weddings and other family gatherings.
