Harg
Estonia

Fire is the organising idea at Härg, a grill restaurant in Tallinn’s Maakri Quarter. Founded by Enn Tobreluts and Andres Tuule, its kitchen is now led by executive chef Taigo Lepik, with steaks, slow-cooked meats and other grilled dishes supported by salads and an extensive wine selection. The signature ‘dirty steak’ takes the approach literally, cooking the meat directly in hot charcoal. Contemporary interiors, original paintings and music give the dining room an animated, relaxed character, while the courtyard terrace offers outdoor tables in summer. The location brings together the district’s industrial heritage and modern architecture, making Härg an easy fit for both a city-centre lunch and a longer evening meal.
