Harry Sasson

Harry Sasson occupies a historic Tudor-style house in Bogotá, extended with a striking glass-and-steel dining space. The restaurant reflects the chef’s evolution from Asian-influenced cooking towards a stronger focus on Colombian ingredients, while retaining familiar dishes that have become part of its identity. Crispy duck and sweet-and-sour prawns sit alongside meat and seafood cooked on a Japanese robata grill or in a wood-fired oven. Colombian arepas, Amazonian honey and palm hearts from Putumayo connect the menu to domestic producers. Sasson’s first Bogotá restaurant opened in 1995; the current namesake establishment carries that long history into a kitchen that combines international techniques with an increasingly local pantry.
