Heirloom occupies a white Victorian house with red shutters on Savannah Road in Lewes. The restaurant's cooking is guided by the seasons and by farm and garden ingredients, with a dining room and small bar providing two different settings for dinner. Regional producers appear explicitly across the menu. Recent dishes use Fifer Orchard tomatoes, apples and pears alongside mushrooms from Kennett Square. Pasta filled with butternut squash and ricotta is paired with maitake mushrooms, pear butter, pistachios and kale, while a mushroom starter layers mousse, gremolata and crisp maitake. Cheese, charcuterie, desserts and cocktails provide further routes through a meal without relying on one fixed tasting format.
