Heirloom Kitchen
New Jersey

Heirloom Kitchen combines a restaurant, cooking school and kitchenware boutique in Old Bridge. Founded by Neilly Robinson and led in the kitchen by David Viana, it gives the open kitchen a central role in the room. The chef's counter offers the closest view, a raised communal counter looks across the preparation area, and conventional tables provide a more private meal. Dinner follows a four-course prix fixe, with extra courses available à la carte. Dishes change gradually through the seasons and do not return once removed from the menu. Guests may bring their own wine, and bottles from New Jersey's Alba Vineyard are also sold on site. Recreational classes extend the experience to cooking rather than dining alone.
