Hilton Hotel Tahiti
Auae, Faaa, Papeete, Tahiti, French Polynesia
Hilton Hotel Tahiti is the most prominent internationally branded large hotel on Tahiti in the source set, and its location near Papeete makes it especially useful for arrivals, departures and shorter stays on the main island. The official Hilton page gives the hotel an address in Auae, Faaa, Papeete, which places it close to the island’s principal transport and urban centre. That makes it a practical complement to the more remote resort stays elsewhere in the archipelago. In an editorial ranking, this hotel matters because French Polynesia is not only about remote motu resorts; many visitors need a well-equipped base near the capital. It therefore ranks behind the resort icons but ahead of more specialised or less visible properties because it serves a broad range of travellers and is clearly operating with a strong official presence.
