Homeland Restaurant is part of Homeland Hotel on Avenue Charles de Gaulle in Niamey. Its cooking combines local and international dishes, with a menu that places considerable emphasis on grilled meat, skewers and familiar French-style preparations. Beef stroganoff, grilled steak and lamb navarin sit alongside chicken skewers and grilled local chicken. Fish dishes include capitaine skewers and a fillet preparation with tomato, black olives, paprika and lemon. The hotel also caters for business meals, cocktail receptions and outside events, giving the restaurant a role beyond ordinary table service.
